Job description
The Project Engineer for Technical Due Diligence (DD) M&A will have a key role in analysing the technical aspects of potential mergers and acquisitions. This position requires a strong background in engineering and project management, as well as the ability to evaluate the technical feasibility, risks and opportunities related to M&A transactions.
The Role:
Conduct comprehensive technical due diligence on target companies, evaluating their assets, processes and technologies.
Evaluate technical feasibility and alignment with the purchasing company's strategic objectives.
Identify potential risks, liabilities and opportunities related to the target company's technical operations.
Prepare detailed technical reports summarizing the findings of due diligence investigations.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to present technical assessments to management and stakeholders.
Contribute to executive summaries and recommendations for M&A transactions.
Manage the technical due diligence process, including planning, resource allocation and coordination with external consultants or experts.
Ensure due diligence projects are completed within established timeframes and budgets.
Develop strategies to mitigate technical risks associated with potential M&A transactions.
Provide recommendations for risk mitigation and integration planning.
Provide technical knowledge and guidance to support decision making during the M&A process.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Energy Engineering or related field.
Previous experience in technical due diligence, M&A or project management roles.
Mastery of the English language.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to evaluate complex technical information.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Experience in project management, including resource allocation and time management.
Knowledge of regulations, standards and best practices specific to the renewable sector.
Great attention to detail and results orientation.
