Job description

The Opportunity:

A rare opportunity to join a interesting Renewables start up who specialise in Developing projects into the UK and international markets. The successful candidate will originate and develop solar / storage / wind and AD projects throughout specific region(s) of the UK

The Role

  • Issue the technical documents related to renewable energy PV/wind projects;
  • Review/production of project documents issued by the internal team and third party;
  • Dealing with DNOs and TSOs, and close interaction with external stakeholders;
  • The activity will cover different areas of technical project development, including: connections to the electrical grid, permitting/planning process, other activities related to project development, executive project details;
  • Dealing with the layouts and other technical documents;
  • Interacting with the technical external contractors;
  • Weekly/monthly report to the project directors;
  • Resource estimation/analysis;
  • Project study/feasibility/analysis.

The Person:

  • Engineering or other technical degree;
  • Solid, proven knowledge of the renewable energy market;
  • Years of solid experience in the technical planning and/or development of photovoltaics and wind plants;
  • Strong proactive attitude, self-management and team coordination;
  • Computer Skills: Microsoft Office, AutoCAD, GIS software (Quantum GIS), Google Earth, WindPro, PVSyst, PVDesign;
  • Language Skills: fluent English;
  • Availability to travel from time to time;
  • Strong understanding of UK planning regulatory framework;
