Job description

​This role contributes to renewable energy certification wind projects worldwide by evaluating design calculations for structural components like hubs, shafts, and frames, primarily for wind turbines. The engineer will also be responsible for inspecting customer factories to verify correct implementation of nacelle and hub designs, performing structural analyses according to international standards, managing administrative tasks related to certification, and independently executing projects. The role involves analyzing project scope and specifications, coordinating with clients, and ensuring timely and successful project delivery.

Responsibilities

  • Perform structural analysis and FEA calculations using commercial numerical simulation tools (e.g., ANSYS or similar)

  • Evaluate structural components (cast or forged) to ensure they meet international standards, such as IEC 61400-1

  • Inspect manufacturer facilities to verify proper implementation of nacelle and hub designs during production

  • Communicate effectively with business partners locally and internationally.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Structural Engineering or a related field

  • 2-5 years of relevant experience in structural analysis, fatigue assessment, FEA calculations, and working with materials such as structural steel and castings

  • Proficiency in using commercial numerical simulation tools (e.g., ANSYS or similar)

  • Hands-on experience with manufacturing processes, including steel structure fabrication and welding, is a plus

  • Willingness to travel both domestically and internationally

  • Excellent organizational and time management skills

  • Strong communication skills in English, both written and spoken

  • A strong customer focus, commitment to independent work, and the ability to adapt to a dynamic consultancy environment

  • Technical aptitude and enthusiasm for expanding the business

  • Experience with continuous process improvement (Lean Six Sigma) is desirable.
