Job description

We are currently seeking a skilled and motivated Project Engineer to join one of our key clients—an established offshore wind contractor with a strong track record in the installation of foundations for large-scale wind farms. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a dynamic team delivering critical infrastructure for the energy transition.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the planning and execution of offshore foundation installation projects from early engineering through to offshore execution.

  • Coordinate with internal departments (engineering, procurement, HSE, operations) and external stakeholders (clients, subcontractors, vessel operators).

  • Prepare and review technical documentation including method statements, risk assessments, and installation procedures.

  • Monitor project progress, identify risks, and propose mitigation strategies.

  • Participate in offshore campaigns as required, providing engineering support during operations.

  • Ensure compliance with industry standards, client specifications, and project requirements.

Requirements:
  • Degree in Engineering (Civil, Mechanical, Marine, or related discipline).

  • Proven experience in offshore wind or marine construction, ideally with a focus on foundation installation (monopiles, jackets, suction buckets, etc.).

  • Strong understanding of offshore installation methods, equipment, and logistics.

  • Excellent communication and coordination skills.

  • Willingness to travel and work offshore as needed.

  • Right to work in the UK.

Desirable:
  • Experience working with major offshore wind developers or Tier 1 contractors.

  • Familiarity with offshore vessels and heavy lift operations.

  • Knowledge of relevant software tools (e.g., AutoCAD, OrcaFlex, MS Project).
