About the Role

TGRC is excited to partner with a leading Renewable Energy Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) in their search for an experienced Project Director. This key leadership position is based in Beijing and is critical to advancing the company's research and development (R&D) initiatives in the renewable energy sector.

Key Responsibilities

As the Project Director, your core duties will include:

• Project Leadership: Oversee and manage large-scale R&D projects within the renewable energy sector, ensuring alignment with the company’s strategic objectives and timelines.

• Innovation Management: Drive the development and implementation of innovative renewable energy technologies, coordinating cross-functional teams to achieve project milestones.

• Budget Oversight: Manage project budgets, ensuring efficient allocation of resources and cost control to deliver projects within financial constraints.

• Risk Management: Identify and mitigate risks associated with R&D projects, ensuring that all projects are completed to the highest standards of safety and quality.

• Stakeholder Coordination: Liaise with internal and external stakeholders, including government agencies, industry partners, and academic institutions, to ensure successful project execution.

• Team Leadership: Lead and mentor a diverse team of engineers, researchers, and project managers, fostering a culture of excellence and innovation.

• Performance Monitoring: Track and report on project progress, providing regular updates to senior management and making adjustments as necessary to ensure successful project completion.

Qualifications and Experience

The ideal candidate will have:

• Extensive Experience: A minimum of 10 years of experience in renewable energy R&D, with a proven track record of successfully leading complex projects.

• Educational Background: A degree in engineering, renewable energy, or a related field, with advanced qualifications being an advantage.

• Project Management Expertise: Demonstrated ability to manage large-scale R&D projects from inception to completion, including experience with budget management and resource allocation.

• Technical Proficiency: Strong technical knowledge of renewable energy technologies and industry trends.

• Leadership Skills: Proven experience in leading and developing high-performing teams, with excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

• Language Skills: Fluency in English is essential, with proficiency in Mandarin being highly desirable.

Compensation

The successful candidate will be offered a competitive monthly salary in the range of 70,000-90,000 CNY, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
