Job description

​TGRC has partnered with one of the world's leading renewable energy infrastructure companies. They have renewable energy projects in Brazil, Colombia, Mexico, Uruguay, the US, Greece, Italy, Portugal, Spain, the UK and Australia, with their portfolio including onshore wind, solar photovoltaic, solar thermal and transmission and distribution line technologies, covering the whole energy chain from development and/or construction to operation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the development of solar projects from start to end

  • Identify and verify land for solar project, having initial contact with landowners, negotiating and signing land leases or acquisition

  • Monitor and report on greenfield or brownfield opportunities generated for PV project development;

  • Coordinate with consultants, specialists, and subcontractors

  • Support the engineering department in the entire permitting process up to the obtainment of construction permit, ensuring the proper follow-up of the permitting phase

  • Support the engineering department and external partners in the grid access request process

  • Prepare project budgets and timeline

  • Manage and maintain good relationships with external stakeholders, including public entities (state, regional and local), legal and technical advisors and landowners

  • Creation of good local network through participation in in events related to business sectors

  • Stay up-to-date on industry developments and best practices

Qualifications:

  • Graduate in Engineering, Economics or Law

  • 3 years’ experience, preferably in PV or wind development projects in Italy

  • Good understanding of Italian PV & Electricity markets

  • Deep understanding of ‘greenfield’ development process for solar PV projects in Italy

  • Fluency in Italian and good knowledge of English (B2)

  • Driving license
