​Project Development Manager

The Green Recruitment Company are delighted to be partnered with a leading Renewable Energy Developer, and Owner Operator who are seeking a Junior Project Development Manager to join the team. The business has developed a portfolio of over 5GW of Storage, Solar and Wind across Europe and Australia.

The role will join the Development Team to support BESS projects currently under construction to identify grid capacity, secure land and obtain planning consent to bring the projects to a ready to build status.

Responsibilities:

• Manage directly the development of several solar and battery projects, from securing the land, and applying for grid capacity to planning obtention, equipment manufacturer supplier selection and non-recourse project finance process (monitor studies, coordination of all stakeholders)

• Coordinate our greenfield development approach with our different partners, including grid consultant, land agents (manage priorities, relationship with stakeholders)

• Monitor the status of the development pipeline (dashboards, exposures, project development timelines)

• The scope and missions will evolve with projects and candidate appetite and could also include wind greenfield development.

Requirements:

• Master’s degree in engineering or business administration

• Excellent in verbal communication, strong analytical skills and organisational capabilities

• Business acumen and hands-on approach, team player
