Job description
Our customer has been active in the development, implementation and operation of solar power plants in Europe for many years to actively contribute to the energy transition and generate environmentally friendly electricity.
Additionally, they want to promote the growth of renewable energies, especially photovoltaics, in Germany. Therefore, they are now looking for a project developer for various locations.
Your area of responsibility:
Support in finding, evaluating and securing suitable locations for large open-space photovoltaic systems
Support in contract negotiations to secure land in coordination with our legal department
Requests for network compatibility assessments from network operators to obtain network connection conditions and connection costs
Establishment and management of contacts with the approving authorities, municipalities, network operators and other “stakeholders”
Coordination of all approval and planning steps to achieve construction readiness
Project presentation and contract negotiations with municipalities
Control of external consultants and project developers
Taking responsibility for project reporting and the budget
Your profile:
Bachelor's degree in the field of economics, law, environmental engineering, environmental technology, renewable energies, landscape planning, landscape architecture, environmental ecology, environmental planning, physical geography, environmental sciences, gardening and landscaping, agriculture or comparable training
You work in a structured and analytical manner, can react flexibly and quickly to changing problems and enjoy taking on responsibility
Professional experience in developing renewable energy projects and a good network
Very good negotiation skills combined with a convincing demeanour and a good feel for the interlocutor
Fluent German and very good written and spoken English skills
Fluency in another foreign language would be an advantage
High willingness to travel and work independently and carefully
