Job description
Project Developer
Location: Remote
TGRC has partnered with a very unique IPP with exceptional funding from Summit Partners, Peabody and Riverstone, to fill their Project Development role. They develop large scale solar and storage on old mining land, where their smallest project is 500MW. The company has a growing pipeline of 9 GW, across 10 projects, 8 of which are 1GW single sites. They are led by industry veterans with over 60 years of collective experience in independent power. As a Project Developer you would manage all aspects of development for select projects in the company’s development portfolio, from site acquisition through to Notice to Proceed for construction.
Responsibilities:
Coordinate development activities such as site acquisition, real estate and title curative, interconnection, regulatory approvals, engineering, land use and environmental permitting and financial valuation
Arranging, organizing, regularly scheduled project meetings, communicating projects’ statuses, reviewing and updating the project schedule, budget and cash forecast
Review and manage project contracts including leases, interconnection agreements, power purchase agreements to ensure compliance with their teams
