Position: Process Manager

Location: Multiple locations in the United Kingdom

Contract Type: 8-12-month contract

Daily Rate: £400

Role Overview:

As a Process Manager, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing the production operations of our client's hydrogen plants. Collaborating closely with cross-functional teams, you will be responsible for ensuring efficient and reliable operations, optimizing process performance, and maintaining the highest standards of safety and environmental compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Monitor and optimize hydrogen production processes to maximize efficiency and cost-effectiveness.

• Identify opportunities for process improvement and implement innovative solutions to enhance plant performance.

• Work collaboratively with maintenance, engineering, and production teams to minimize downtime and ensure seamless operations.

• Conduct regular audits and inspections to ensure compliance with safety and environmental regulations.

• Develop and implement robust standard operating procedures (SOPs) for process control and troubleshooting.

• Provide technical expertise and support to operational teams, assisting in resolving complex operational issues and driving continuous improvement initiatives.

• Track and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure process performance and identify optimization opportunities.

• Support the commissioning and start-up of new hydrogen production facilities.

• Maintain accurate documentation and records of process parameters, incidents, and maintenance activities.

Requirements:

• Degree in Chemical Engineering or a related field.

• Proven experience in process management within the energy or chemical industry, preferably with exposure to hydrogen production processes.

• Strong knowledge of process optimization techniques, process control systems, and safety standards.

• Analytical mindset with the ability to analyze complex operational data and identify areas for improvement.

• Excellent problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to driving continuous improvement.

• Effective communication and interpersonal skills, enabling collaboration across multidisciplinary teams.

• Demonstrated commitment to safety, environmental stewardship, and regulatory compliance.

• Willingness to travel to multiple locations within the United Kingdom, as required.
