Overview

The Green Recruitment Company are working with an international sustainability and energy services consultancy based in London to find a Sustainability Analyst to join their team. The client works with multi-site clients to assist in meeting their net-zero strategies and targets. The successful candidate will join the Service Delivery team and the role will be predominantly office based in West London with occasional travel to sites. Key Responsibilities:

  • Using your knowledge of climate change and decarbonisation strategies to act in the capacity of ‘trusted advisor’ for senior stakeholders
  • Advising on compliance with UK and EU climate policy, including GHG reporting legislation, energy efficiency legislation, and industrial relief programmes
  • Working alongside others on climate change & sustainability matters to provide expert insight on the impact of climate change policies on key sustainability deliverables
  • Taking the lead on creating GHG inventories to assist clients with their regulatory compliance and inform on emissions reduction strategies
  • Implementing software-based solutions for sustainability data management and creating effective frameworks to represent climate impacts of clients
  • Support the sales team in achieving the company’s growth targets
  • Supporting marketing with educational content on developments in energy technology or climate policy
  • Giving technical support and mentoring to other team members on emissions accounting and modelling

 

The Candidate:

  • Experience in climate change policies, risk mitigation strategies and helping companies reduce GHG emissions and experience in modelling and reporting on GHG Protocol Scope 1, 2 and 3 emissions 
  • Experience in BREEAM assessments or BREEAM certification
  • Experience in developing ESG policies and strategies we well as a wider understanding of ESG reporting
  • Ability to establish and maintain relationships with key stakeholders 
  • Exceptional data management, analysis, organisational and presentation skills 
  • Passion for educating and engaging with clients and communicating technical subject matter to a non-technical audience
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Project management experience
