Job description

​TGRC is working with a leading global firm specializing in consulting, engineering, and quality control in the renewable energy and energy storage sectors. With over 15 years of experience and a portfolio of 300 GW in renewable energy and 30 GWh in energy storage worldwide, the firm brings extensive expertise to the partnership.

Key responsibilities:

  • Lead technical due diligence projects

  • Review technology and design aspects of renewable energy projects (onshore wind)

  • Provide technical feedback on project planning for renewable energy initiatives

  • Evaluate interconnection agreements, power purchase agreements, balance of plant (BoP) and wind turbine contracts, operation and maintenance (O&M) agreements, and financial models

  • Verify energy resource and yield assessments (prepared by in-house Wind Resource and Yield teams)

  • Conduct site inspections

  • Refine and update methodologies and internal procedures

  • Ensure the quality and accuracy of project deliverables

  • Mentor junior engineers on company standards, procedures, and industry best practices

  • Manage project timelines and client expectations

  • Contribute to developing strategies for business growth

  • Drive business development and expand the client network in the UK, Republic of Ireland, and Northern Europe

  • Work independently with a proactive approach.

Qualifications:

  • BSc / MSc degree in mechanical, electrical, or civil engineering or related field

  • Work experience in engineering consulting of more than 5 years

  • Proven track record of managing complex projects, with a strong focus on technical excellence, client satisfaction and commercial success

  • Deep knowledge of the scope for a technical due diligence (wind project)

  • Experience with greenfield and operational projects

  • Ability to develop and implement company´s strategy in the UK

  • Capable to undertake business development activities (existing client network in the UK will be valued)
