​Responsibility

• Scope the qualification of materials for testing and process application methods.

• Advising new technologies needed to enable longer, lighter, and more cost-efficient blades.

• Proposing ideas to improve the multi-disciplinary blade design.

• Evaluating potential of new material and technology ideas to set direction for technology roadmaps.

• Contributing to the development of design, analysis, optimization, and visualization tools for structural simulations.

• Collaborating with a diverse group of engineers in a global engineering organization.

• Specification of tests in collaboration with the design engineers, along with the subsequent analysis and reporting.

• Maintenance and calibration of test equipment and machinery.

• Supporting for development of test methods, equipment, and facilities.

• Supporting with local and international testing companies/institutions and suppliers of test equipment and technologies.

Requirement

• 12-15 years working experience and 8-10 years at R&D background.

• Highly travelling

• M.Sc. in Chemistry, Engineering, Materials Science or similar. Having knowledge and experience with materials from wind power, automotive or aerospace industry is a prerequisite.

• Wind turbine knowledge/experience preferred.

• Project Management experience or technical team leadership preferred.

• Good technical understanding of Blade Design, Manufacturing and Field repair and upgrade methods.

• Strong knowledges and applications of diversified blade materials.

• Good problem-solving capabilities.

• Strong communication skills, a high technical proficiency, and excellent proficiency in English are essential.

• Ability to direct multi-skilled professional teams.

• Engage in HSE management and be fully safety-focused.

• Comfortable in working within multi-cultural and multi-national team.
