PPA SALES MANAGER

LOCATION: London

SALARY: £75,000 to £85,000

Our client is passionate about renewable energies! We are an electricity producer from wind, solar, hydro, biomass and storage and also a service provider to 3rd party clients such as Development, EPC, O&M and Distribution.

YOUR PROFILE:

Business Development:

  • Establish the strategy & lead the commercial activity for the PPA business with a strong focus on private-wire self-consumption projects with large corporate accounts in Spain.

  • Actively originate new clients and Self-Consumption solar PPA projects.

  • Develop a strong network with a wide range of C&I clients.

  • Develop solid working relationships with senior client contacts.

  • Manage day-to-day operations of transactions from origination until completion.

Sales:

  • Lead the origination of long-term new-build-asset-backed PPA’s.

  • With the Development team support, prepare and structure commercial offers according to identified customer needs and company standards.

  • Lead the commercial negotiations and close PPA’s with a range of corporate clients.

  • Follow closely the evolution of the renewable energy market in terms of consumers, services, offer structure, etc.

Contracting:

  • Manage contract negotiation with Corporates.

  • Manage contract closing and validation through Contract Committee and Investment Committee.

  • Manage customer and third-party quality verification (KYC – Risk Credit).

Structuration:

  • Survey the regulation of the Spanish power market and self-consumption market.

Reporting:

  • Implement and manage sales reporting with the main KPIs on the realized actions.

  • Update the reports on offers being processed and potential offers.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • MSc Advanced Graduate School of Engineering or Business School.

  • At least 5 years of experience in the Spanish electricity market or renewable sector.

  • Strong business development skills and connections among corporate off takers in the Spanish market.

  • Good on-site energy projects experience on industrial facilities (preferred).

  • Track record in executing self-consumption PPA projects in Spain within the current regulation (preferred).

  • Good knowledge of the economic and regulatory conditions of energy purchases and sales in the Spanish market.

  • Experience in negotiation process.

  • Spanish and English business fluency.
