Summary:

As Biomethane PPA Originator you will be responsible for responsible for generating profits by originating, negotiating, structuring and concluding profitable PPA contracts on behalf of this leading global energy company.

You will join a highly experienced international Origination team, whose clients include renewable energy IPPs, energy retailers and large industrials.

You will have a focus on securing the company’s foothold in the biomethane industry, collaborating with an international client base to produce tailor-made and competitive products.

Your Responsibilities:

• Overall responsibility for maintaining and growing the company’s biomethane business
• Maintain daily interaction with clients and deliver a high service level
• Provide strong feedback to the product teams on price levels, market development, etc.
• Establish and negotiate strategic partnerships with renewables developers
• Pitch new product ideas to customers and further strengthen the company’s position as an innovative company at the forefront of product development in the biomethane space
• Follow relevant legislation and ensure that the client is ahead of the game in identifying opportunities and threats arising from legislative changes

Skills, Experience and Qualifications Required:

• A relevant degree in Business, Finance, Marketing, Economics or similar
• Minimum two years’ PPA experience from a similar position in the German energy business
• Fluent German Speaker
• Ability to travel internationally
