​This position is crucial in executing the regional power market strategy for Europe, a core geographical area in our ambitious growth plans. Your responsibilities will include developing and implementing an offtake strategy for projects in the development pipeline by securing Power Purchase Agreements (PPAs) or other relevant contracts. This will involve marketing, origination, and negotiating PPAs with utilities and corporate clients.

Responsibilities:

• Identify and cultivate market opportunities with major energy users and utilities.

• Collaborate with suppliers and other market participants to develop innovative market routes that secure bankable revenue to support solar development.

• Partner with the legal department, structured finance, and other internal stakeholders to negotiate heads of terms and Power Purchase Agreement (PPA) contracts.

• Coordinate with structured finance, development, and commercial managers to create power marketing solutions that optimize funding opportunities and facilitate development.

• Stay informed on developments in European markets and energy policy, assessing their impact on power marketing to ensure the client remains at the forefront of the industry.

Requirements:

• In-depth knowledge of European power markets, with experience in utility-scale renewables, is essential.

• Several years of experience negotiating Power Purchase Agreements in relevant markets.

• Proven success in originating and executing complex energy projects and transactions.

• Excellent interpersonal, communication, and collaboration skills.

• Experience presenting to both internal and external stakeholders, as well as speaking at industry events.

• Extensive experience in one or more relevant power markets.

• Proven track record in originating and negotiating long-term Power Purchase Agreements (PPAs).

• Involvement in renewable energy support auctions.

• Expertise in power trading and risk management.
