Summary:

An international renewable energy advisory company are seeking a PPA Business Developer for their Spanish team. As PPA Business Developer you will be responsible for leading the team’s advisory services with European based renewable energy developers. You will expand the client base of developers, manage a pipeline of prospects, and implement new tools and processes to support the developer facing side of the business.

 

Your responsibilities:

  • Identify, qualify and onboard new European developers and asset owners
  • Demonstrate the value of the company services to developers and asset owners
  • Generate leads for asset marketplace that support the Asset Marketplace team’s annual revenue targets
  • Spearhead the development of new European business opportunities
  • Track & achieve European developer engagement KPIs
  • Promote developer success by presenting transaction opportunities, leading webinars, attending conferences etc
  • Coordinate project data quality and validation with developers
  • Represent developer and asset owner perspective in software and product design
  • Participate in PPA and M&A team deal execution team through developer coordination
  • Support European PPA and M&A transactions
  • Support developer and asset owner focused communications strategy

 

Skills, qualifications and experience required from you:

  • Degree from accredited college/university and relevant work experience in renewable energy
  • Renewable energy development experience and/or M&A experience
  • An understanding of renewable energy industry trends, challenges, opportunities
  • Ability to work cross-functionally with a variety of internal groups
  • Strong written and oral communication skills
  • An interest and aptitude in building and fostering positive relationships with stakeholders
  • Computer skills including Microsoft Office, and other professional software
  • Professional fluency in Spanish and English, other European languages are a plus
