Our client, a leading international wind and solar energy developer, is looking to add a Power Marketing Manager to its commercial / project team.
**This role has the option of being fully remote or hybrid in the Stuart, Florida office**
This hire will work closely with the VP of Power Marketing to manage utility scale power marketing efforts for the U.S. wind and solar markets.
This is a diverse role which is both technical and commercial and will be integral to building and maintaining relationships with key offtake customers through direct engagement, industry conferences and working groups.
3+ years of experience in power origination roles
Experience in power origination efforts or business development sales.
Experience working in CAISO, MISO, WECC, ERCOT, NYISO, and/or PJM is preferred
Working knowledge of evolving regulatory policies that are driving new growth market prospects,
Strong commercial skills and proven “closer” (identifies, executes transactions)
Familiarity with energy industry commercial transactions: basis risk, power markets, hedging, losses, and congestion
Base salary in the range of $140,000-$180,000 dependent on seniority and experience.
