The Role:

• Support the definition hedging strategy and of power market outlooks across countries of operation

• Support the analysis of power market design and dynamics across countries of operation, including but not limited to pricing and settlement mechanisms, supply and demand trends, products available on the markets

• Contribute to the assessment of power market regulatory and policy frameworks and provisions, and their effects on PPAs and other type of hedges and to the production of regular market reports defining view on power markets

• Support PPA negotiations with market analysis as required

The Individual:

• 3+ years work experience in a power company, utility, consultancy working on power market analysis

• Understanding of power market dynamics and assessment of the effects of regulation on PPAs and other hedging structures

• Exhibits a proactive nature and approach to learning, problem identification, and resolution. Desire to succeed and the ability to self-motivate

• Thoroughness, attention to detail, and strong problem-solving skills

• Languages: English
