Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Powder Coating Technician to join our client's Thailand manufacturing facility. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in powder coating processes within the manufacturing industry. You will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality surface finishing of automotive components through efficient and safe application of powder coatings.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate and maintain powder coating equipment, including spray guns, booths, ovens, and pretreatment systems.

• Prepare surfaces of automotive parts for coating (e.g., cleaning, sandblasting, phosphating).

• Apply powder coatings evenly and consistently to meet product specifications and quality standards.

• Monitor coating thickness, adhesion, and appearance to ensure compliance with technical requirements.

• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to coating quality, equipment, or processes.

• Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean, organized work environment.

• Collaborate with production and quality teams to optimize processes and reduce defects.

• Document processes, inspections, and maintenance activities as required.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a Powder Coating Technician or similar role in the Manufacturing industry. Automotive industry is a plus.

• Strong knowledge of powder coating techniques, materials, and equipment.

• Familiarity with surface preparation methods (e.g., degreasing, abrasive blasting, chemical pretreatment).

• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.

• Basic mechanical skills for equipment maintenance and troubleshooting.

• Attention to detail and commitment to quality.

• Ability to work independently and in a team environment.

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification in surface coating or related field is a plus.
