Job description
THE OPPORTUNITY:
An excellent opportunity has arisen for a Portfolio Associate to join an infrastructure asset management firm in London to report on the performance of a new acquired subsidiary. The successful applicant will be working within a team incorporated into senior management - reporting directly to the Senior Portfolio Manager and liaising with Senior Investors.
THE ROLE:
- Monitor asset performance against valuation and reporting timetables
- Create financial models to forecast asset performance
- Assist in the research and monitoring of potential risk or compliance issues that may affect asset performance
- Assist with the production of the annual and interim accounts, quarterly update statements and reports to the Fund Boards
- Draft presentations to investors and partner groups
- Assist in the setting up of external audit of individual funds
- Support the development of Junior Portfolio Analysts within the team
THE INDIVIDUAL:
- Excellent financial modelling experience
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills; including the ability to present and relay information to client services' and investor relations' teams
- Demonstrable reporting and research skills with clear attention to detail
- Bachelor's Degree in Economics, Engineering, Mathematics or other relevant qualification
