Job Title: Owners Representative - Onshore Wind (Freelance)

Location: US – Multiple Locations

Pay Rate: $65-$80 per hour

 

Our client, a leading renewable energy company based in the US, is seeking an experienced Owners Representative to oversee the construction and commissioning of their onshore wind farm project. This is a freelance position, and the successful candidate will be responsible for representing the interests of the project owner throughout the entire project lifecycle.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Act as the primary point of contact between the project owner and all other stakeholders, including contractors, suppliers, and regulatory authorities.

  • Ensure that the project is completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.

  • Manage all aspects of the project, including engineering, procurement, construction, and commissioning.

  • Monitor the progress of the project and provide regular updates to the project owner.

  • Manage any risks or issues that arise during the project and implement appropriate mitigation strategies.

  • Ensure that all project documentation is up to date and compliant with relevant regulations.

 

Requirements:

  • A minimum of 10 years' experience in the onshore wind industry, with at least 5 years' experience in a similar role as Owners Representative.

  • Strong project management skills and a track record of successfully delivering onshore wind projects.

  • A thorough understanding of the regulatory environment for onshore wind projects in the US.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders at all levels.

  • A degree in engineering or a related field.
