Job Title: Owners Representative - Onshore Wind (Freelance)
Location: US – Multiple Locations
Pay Rate: $65-$80 per hour
Our client, a leading renewable energy company based in the US, is seeking an experienced Owners Representative to oversee the construction and commissioning of their onshore wind farm project. This is a freelance position, and the successful candidate will be responsible for representing the interests of the project owner throughout the entire project lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities:
Act as the primary point of contact between the project owner and all other stakeholders, including contractors, suppliers, and regulatory authorities.
Ensure that the project is completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
Manage all aspects of the project, including engineering, procurement, construction, and commissioning.
Monitor the progress of the project and provide regular updates to the project owner.
Manage any risks or issues that arise during the project and implement appropriate mitigation strategies.
Ensure that all project documentation is up to date and compliant with relevant regulations.
Requirements:
A minimum of 10 years' experience in the onshore wind industry, with at least 5 years' experience in a similar role as Owners Representative.
Strong project management skills and a track record of successfully delivering onshore wind projects.
A thorough understanding of the regulatory environment for onshore wind projects in the US.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders at all levels.
A degree in engineering or a related field.
