Salary: Day rate of $400-$600

Our client, a leading offshore wind developer, is seeking an experienced Owners Representative to support their project in Hokkaido Prefecture, Japan. The ideal candidate will have experience working on offshore wind projects, particularly in the construction and commissioning phases. This role is a contract position and will last for 18 months.

Key Responsibilities:

• Act as the primary point of contact between the client and the contractor, ensuring effective communication and collaboration throughout the project lifecycle.

• Monitor construction and commissioning activities to ensure compliance with project requirements and industry standards.

• Manage the project schedule, budget, and quality control processes.

• Conduct regular site visits to monitor progress and ensure that work is completed to the required standard.

• Coordinate with external stakeholders, including regulatory authorities and suppliers.

Requirements:

• Experience working on offshore wind projects, particularly in the construction and commissioning phases.

• Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage complex projects in a fast-paced environment.

• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to build effective relationships with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders.

• A relevant engineering or technical degree is preferred.

• Fluency in English and Japanese is essential.
