Summary:
Are you an experienced O&M professional with experience in the Australian wind and solar industries? If so this might be the role for you.
 
A unique opportunity has arisen with a true international player in the renewable energy markets. This global business develops solar and wind projects across Australia and they are seeking a Sydney based O&M Supervisor to provide support and to improve performance for their growing Australian operation
 
Your responsibilities:
As O&M Supervisor your role your responsibilities will be as follows:
  • Ensuring compliance with O&M objectives, policies and procedures
  • Managing O&M contracts and logistic processes at O&M country level
  • Guaranteeing compliance with Legal, Safety, Environment and Quality requirements
  • Monitoring, analysing and reporting the businesses’ Australian O&M cost and operational KPIs trends involving CapEx & OpEx, cash cost, energy availability/reliability, production and efficiency
  • Defining the Australian business unit’s operation and maintenance CapEx & OpEx, cash cost and production budget, in line with country targets
  • Supervising the implementation and monitoring of the operational efficiency process
  • Supervising the implementation and sharing of improvement initiatives and best practices
  • Supporting the O&M operational performance improvement business unit with Australian organizational and process related issues
  • Ensuring and monitoring the correct use of SAP MM and SAP PM systems
  • Performing as Australian lead for O&M documental systems, communication initiatives and O&M creating shared value projects
  • Managing/supervising build sell and operate contracts and collaboration with third parties
  • Managing industrial Facilities and Asset Management services across Australia
 
Your background
You will possess the following skills, experience and qualifications
  • Masters’ degree in Engineering or Economic disciplines
  • Strong experience in renewable power plant O&M sector in Australia, ideally in wind and solar
  • Very good knowledge of renewable energy systems, O&M processes, contract management and economics principles
  • Excellent knowledge of the English language both verbal and written.
  • Availability to travel nationally and internationally when required
