The Role

The Green Recruitment Company are working with an international energy consultancy with large expansion plans for this year and are looking for a Metering Project Engineer to join their team. This role will be part of the delivery team and will be dealing with large clients across multiple sites. The client is looking for someone attentive to detail and looking for growth. This opportunity would suit someone with industry knowledge of electricity, gas and water utilities, and is keen to become part of an established team. Key responsibilities include:

• Conduct surveys on site and attend client meetings where required
• Project management
• Communicating with clients and utility companies to identify and resolve problems
• Administrative tasks including data entry, issuing fee proposals, producing and updating project spreadsheets
• Reviewing proposals to ensure they meet requirements and are in accordance with company guidelines
• Processing invoices within strict deadlines
•  

The Individual

• Degree, Higher BTEC or equivalent in Electrical Engineering
• Good knowledge of Health and Safety legislation, Power Industry Engineering Standards, and relevant industry Regulations
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
• Strong Microsoft Office skills, specifically Excel
• Experience in project management and effective time management
• Experience of report writing and presenting to clients via face-to-face meetings and via computer
