The Role
My client is currently recruiting a Legal Specialist – Corporate Governance to join the in-house legal team in Italy. This is a key position supporting the company’s growth and compliance functions across multiple jurisdictions.
The successful candidate will provide legal support on corporate governance matters, with a particular focus on group structure, regulatory compliance, and corporate formalities linked to project development and asset management.
Key Responsibilities
Provide legal advice and support on corporate governance matters across group entities in Italy and other European jurisdictions
Draft and manage board resolutions, shareholder meeting documentation, and internal governance policies
Ensure compliance with local and EU regulations, company law requirements, and sector-specific obligations
Liaise with external counsel, notaries, and regulatory bodies where required
Support group-level projects, transactions, and internal legal processes
Maintain and update company registers, licenses, and filings
Candidate Profile
Degree in Law; qualification to practise law in Italy preferred
Experience in the renewable energy sector
3+ years’ experience in a legal or compliance function, ideally within the energy, infrastructure, or regulated sectors
Solid understanding of corporate governance, company law, and regulatory compliance
Experience working with international structures and multi-jurisdictional operations is an advantage
Fluent in Italian and English (both written and spoken)
Detail-oriented, organised, and comfortable working in a fast-paced, evolving environment
