We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Legal Manager specializing in litigation to join our team in Thailand. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in manufacturing-related legal affairs, with a focus on handling court proceedings, dispute resolution, and compliance. Proficiency in Thai legal language and prior experience managing litigation cases within the Thai judicial system are critical for this role.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead end-to-end litigation processes, including case preparation, court filings, hearings, and appeals.

  • Handle disputes related to contracts, procurement, sales, labor, and other manufacturing-specific matters.

  • Collaborate with external lawyers and law firms to ensure alignment with company objectives.

  • Provide actionable legal advice to internal stakeholders on projects, contracts, labor relations, and regulatory compliance.

  • Draft, review, and negotiate agreements (e.g., procurement, sales, employment) to mitigate risks.

  • Monitor legal and regulatory developments impacting the manufacturing sector.

  • Develop strategies to address potential disputes and minimize litigation risks.

  • Represent the company in communications with Thai authorities, courts, law firms, and government agencies.

  • Build and maintain relationships with key external legal partners.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 3 years of legal experience in manufacturing, with exposure to engineering projects, procurement, sales, and labor disputes.

  • 3+ years of hands-on litigation experience in Thai courts, particularly in commercial/contractual disputes.

  • Prior roles as a litigator, in-house counsel at a large manufacturing firm, or legal advisor to corporate clients are preferred.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Law or higher; a Thai law qualification is required (e.g., Thai Bar Exam certification).

  • In-depth knowledge of Thai laws and regulations affecting manufacturing and labor.

  • Fluency in legal Thai for drafting documents, court representation, and negotiations.

  • Proficiency in Thai and Chinese is a strong advantage.
