The Green Recruitment Company is searching for an Energy Lawyer to join a leading IPP with activity in America and Europe.

Responsibilities:

• Provide advice on all Real Estate legal matters in the Business Development activity.

• Draft and negotiate the finance and construction agreements.

• Continuous review of land-related contracts.

• Design potential contingent actions to prevent problems.

• Prevention of legal disputes, advice of the business team and senior management in all legal aspects

• Providing external legal counsels and acting as interface between external legal counsels and the business team.

• Preparation and negotiation of contracts related to the generation and sale of electrical energy.

• Preparation and negotiation of contracts related to the operation of information systems.

• Preparation and negotiation of contracts with service providers (EPCs) specialized in construction, installation, commissioning, operation and maintenance of power plants and storage batteries to carry out photovoltaic and energy storage projects

• Review of corporate, real estate, basic financial and interconnection documents with CFE.

• Follow-up with clients to obtain documents and comments on contracts for closing of business.

• Regulatory advice on energy matters, specifically in relation to updates

Requirements:

• Bachelor Degree in Law is compulsory.

• More than 5 years of experience in a law firm or energy related company.

• Fluent English and Spanish,

• Excellent skills in communicating with diverse shareholders and project management

• Willingness to frequent travel.
