The Green Recruitment Company are working with a client which delivers energy management and consultancy services to commercial, industrial, municipal, and institutional customers. With a multinational team of experts and proprietary technology, they provide customers with comprehensive energy supply solutions to reduce energy spend and increase predictability. They also offer end-to-end sustainability services to meet carbon footprint goals.


The Role:

As Key Account Manager (KAM), you are responsible for the customer journey; from prospecting and sales to delivery and up-sales. This client offers a wide range of energy and sustainability services to companies throughout the Nordic region. You will be responsible for building and developing customer relationships and ensuring that we deliver services and solutions that exceed our customers' expectations. You will be part of an experienced team and have the support of some of the best Key Account Managers found in the Nordic energy industry. You will work closely with skilled colleagues also in other departments, including portfolio management, analysis, and sustainability.



  • LEAD – taking a leading role for the Finnish team:

    • Be pro-active in developing the business plan and products for Finland

    • Manage both your personal sales and support the Finnish KAM team where needed

  •  SALES – with a focus of acquiring new customers:

    • Offer the client’s broad service and product portfolio in the area of sustainability and energy

    • Drive prospecting and sales and successfully contribute to increase our Danish/Nordic customer base 

  • KAM - focus on building and developing customer relationships

    • Manage complex sales cases and services through customer meetings, inquiries, quotes, renewal of relevant customer 

    • Coordinate and lead relevant service teams together with colleagues also in areas of physically and financially energy management, sustainability solutions and online reporting.

The Individual:

As a person, you are a solution-oriented team player, with a strong sales drive and ability to deliver a high level of sales activity and have a will and ability to learn new things. You have a passion for building a more sustainable future and finding good solutions for customers' energy and risk management needs. Furthermore, you are required to have strong networking and relationship building skills and strive to always deliver the best possible solutions to customers.

  • Preferably at least 5 years of experience in B2B sales work/customer responsibility, preferably in the energy or sustainability area

  • Strong communicative ability in both speech and writing

  • Language skills: fluent knowledge of Finnish and preferably Swedish

  • Willingness and ability to travel (primarily within Finland) is important.
