​Job Title: Land Manager - Renewable IPP

Location: United Kingdom

Salary: Up to £80,000 per annum plus bonus

Our client, a leading renewable Independent Power Producer (IPP), is seeking an experienced Land Manager to join their team in the UK. As Land Manager, you will be responsible for identifying, securing and managing land for renewable energy projects, ensuring they are delivered on time, to budget, and in accordance with relevant regulations and standards.

Key responsibilities:

  • Identifying and evaluating land opportunities for renewable energy projects, including wind and solar

  • Negotiating land agreements with landowners and other stakeholders, including option agreements and lease agreements

  • Managing relationships with landowners and local communities to ensure positive engagement and maximise project benefits

  • Ensuring compliance with relevant regulatory requirements and environmental standards

  • Collaborating with internal stakeholders, external consultants, and contractors to ensure successful project delivery

  • Managing project budgets, timelines, and risks related to land acquisition and management

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A degree in a related field, such as geography, land management, or environmental science

  • A minimum of 5 years' experience in land acquisition and management, preferably in the renewable energy sector

  • A strong understanding of UK land management regulations and practices

  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders at all levels

  • Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously

  • A proven track record in delivering land acquisition and management projects on time and to budget

  • A passion for renewable energy and a desire to contribute to the transition to a low carbon economy
