Job Description:

As a Junior Solar Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in supporting their solar energy projects, providing technical expertise, and working closely with a team of experienced engineers and consultants. This position is ideal for individuals with some experience in the renewable energy or solar industry who are looking to advance their careers and make a meaningful impact in the field.

Key responsibilities:

• Collaborate with senior engineers and consultants to support various stages of solar energy projects, including feasibility studies, design, implementation, and performance optimization.

• Conduct site assessments, shading analysis, and environmental impact assessments to evaluate the feasibility of solar installations.

• Assist in the design and optimization of solar PV systems, ensuring they meet client specifications and regulatory requirements.

• Perform technical analysis, energy yield predictions, and financial modelling to assess project viability and performance.

• Ensure that solar projects comply with local, state, and federal regulations, including permitting and interconnection requirements.

• Create and maintain project documentation, including reports, drawings, and technical specifications.

• Participate in quality control and quality assurance processes to maintain high standards in project implementation.

• Interact with clients, providing technical support and addressing inquiries during project execution.

• Stay updated with industry advancements and emerging technologies in solar energy and contribute to research and development efforts.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, Renewable Energy, or a related technical field.

• Proven experience with solar photovoltaic systems and battery energy storage systems, encompassing design, installation, operation, and maintenance.

• Comprehensive knowledge of international standards, codes, and regulations governing solar and BESS projects.

• Proficiency in simulation tools and software for analyzing solar and BESS system performance.

• Strong analytical abilities for assessing technical data, recognizing trends, and formulating actionable recommendations.

• Exceptional communication skills, capable of conveying intricate technical concepts to diverse audiences effectively.

• Problem-solving orientation with a talent for addressing technical challenges creatively and efficiently.

• Preferred previous consulting experience, demonstrating the ability to engage with clients, project management, and delivering valuable insights.

• Fluent in spoken and written business English, with strong communication and alignment skills.
