THE CLIENT:

The Green Recruitment Company represents a market leading infrastructure fund that have invested mainly in renewable energy to date. They are diversifying the portfolio into wider infrastructure and looking to add an Investment Manager to the existing team.

THE ROLE:

This person will help source, diligence, and invest into the clean energy and wider infra space. Some of the current pipeline includes deals involving electric vehicles, energy efficiency and fibre optic telecommunication technology. Broad responsibilities for the position are below:

• Identify, source, and evaluate new investment opportunities
• Conduct detailed due diligence
• Support investment team in negotiation and investment execution
• Execute various projects as needed, including developing and researching investment theses
• Establish and maintain strong professional networks inside and outside the company network
• Assist individual portfolio companies in support of board members
• Coordinate investor reporting and fundraising support
• Extend fund’s institutional infrastructure

PERSON SPECIFICATION:

• Strong academic qualifications from a top university
• Good level of Venture Capital transaction experience
• Strong financial modelling exposure
• Project management skills
• Understanding of contracts
• Experience in the energy space desirable but not essential
• Entrepreneurial spirit
• Ability to take initiative
