Job description

We have a new role for an Investment Associate based in Singapore to support a renewable energy developer with their APAC investment strategy and further market analysis.

TGRC is proud to partner with a European renewable energy developer with a current capacity of over 3 GW worldwide with a pipeline of 40 GW, specialising in the development, engineering, and financing of utility-scale solar and battery farms.

Our client is looking for an Investment Analyst based in Singapore to support their APAC investment strategy and new market analysis.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Contribute to due diligence, investment proposals, and internal review/approval processes.

  • Develop complex financial models for new investments and project financing.

  • Conduct market analysis and research on the APAC power market and emerging markets in the renewable sector across Asia.

  • Manage an existing portfolio of investments and support with quarterly performance reviews and annual planning processes.

  • Collaborate with internal partners on project development, joint ventures, deal execution, and finance across the company.

  • Support shareholder representatives in the governance and management of portfolio companies, development partners, and new acquisitions.

Your Profile
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field.

  • 3+ years experience in the investment team of a Renewable Developer, IPP, or consultancy.

  • Experience in building financial modelling and financial analysis in renewables, energy, or a related field.

  • Ability to draft and review investment documents, such as proposals for the investment committee with a clear analysis of investment performance.

  • Experience in building financial and technical investment cases for utility-scale projects.

  • Excellent communication and ability to work independently and collaboratively.

  • Interest in renewable energy projects.
