Job description
The Green Recruitment Company are delighted to have partnered with a Global Infrastructure and Renewable Energy Impact Investment firm with an established track record in emerging and developing Asia.
The business is purpose driven and seeks an Investment Associate to join their high performing and impactful team in London. This role will give you the opportunity to support the accelerated growth of the firm's investment portfolio while working across the entire investment lifecycle and applying complex analytical framework to support the investment decision-making process.
Key Responsibilities:
Independently analyse, maintain and build financial models from scratch
Conduct thorough valuation analysis to assess the potential of investment opportunities
Perform scenario modeling
Support due diligence streams for prospective deals
Support the governance and approvals process for Investment Committee Approval
Prepare Investment Memorandums and other analysis for investment and reporting committees
Keep up to date on market trends, industry developments, and economic indicators to identify potential investment opportunities
Prepare strategic papers that outline the rationale and vision for specific investment strategies to build investment conviction
Manage key work-streams in the origination, execution, and asset management process
Attend and contribute to key meetings such as Investment Committees, strategy discussions, and client presentations
Experience and Qualifications:
3 - 5 years of relevant experience in Infrastructure funds, Energy Principal Investing, Corporate Finance or Project Finance
Existing experience within the infrastructure sector is preferred
Excellent financial modelling skills and corporate finance fundamentals required
Experience with working on the entire deal flow process
Demonstrated track record of supporting the delivery of transaction documentation
Capable of producing high quality internal and external documents such as IC memos, strategy and board papers
Relevant professional qualifications such as MBA/CFA/ACA would be an advantage
