Primary Role Description

Our client is a leading global Renewables business are looking for an Investment Analyst. The role will focus on analysing new renewable investment opportunities across Europe and the management of existing assets.

 

Detailed Responsibilities

  • Collaborating with senior investment professionals in originating, evaluating and analysing new investment opportunities
  • Assisting in the preparation of investment proposals, including Investment Committee papers
  • Supporting market and sector research
  • Supporting the financial analysis, valuation, and due diligence of new investments
  • Assisting in maintaining relationships within the industry

 

Key Attributes

Qualifications

  • Degree (at least Bachelor level)
  • CA / CFA / CAIA / MBA / Masters or progression towards or a willingness to progress with further study
  • Experience / background
  • Ideally two to four years professional experience
  • Experience working in the renewable energy or infrastructure sector
  • Skills / personal attributes
  • A proactive, flexible, and entrepreneurial
  • Team player
  • Strong quantitative/numerical skills with advanced financial and operational modelling skills (or a willingness to develop a proficiency in this skillset)
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
