Job description

The Client

My Client are an industry leading, Solar PV Inverter and product manufacturer.  They are looking for a dedicated, flexible and performance-oriented individual to join their sales team in Munich.  

 

The Role 

The responsibilites of this position will involve: 

  • Identify and prioritize potential future customers through field contacts or in-depth contact requests
  • Self-responsible customer acquisition: Independent commercial and technical customer service and support: identifying customer needs and offering adequate solutions, positioning against the competition by offering additional products and services
  • Appointment clarification and tracking of important orders and projects in sales
  • Offer creation, tracking and closing via the distribution channel
  • And all this by phone or e-mail
  • Assistance in conducting customer training via online tools, if necessary on-site at the customer
  • Further development and maintenance of customer databases
  • Active support of field sales and distribution channel sales

 

Requirements and Certifications 

  • Technical / commercial training or studies
  • Solution-oriented, highly sales-oriented, customer-focused way of thinking
  • Experience in sales and marketing is an advantage: being able to ensure sales success by addressing the right person appropriately
  • Affinity to technical products and renewable energy
  • Safe use of MS Office programs (especially Excel and PowerPoint)
  • Excellent communication skills - oral and written
  • Very good German and English knowledge in spoken and written, other foreign languages ​​are an advantage
  • Independent and proactive way of working, commitment, teamwork, communication skills
  • Willingness to occasionally travel (max 10%)
