Role Overview

As the Sourcing Manager – Indirect, you’ll be responsible for developing and executing sourcing strategies for indirect categories that support both office and plant operations. You will manage supplier negotiations, handle purchase orders (POs) in SAP, and work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure cost efficiency, quality, and reliability across multiple indirect spend areas — including logistics, facilities, MRO, IT, and professional services.

What You Will Do

  • Lead sourcing activities and supplier negotiations for indirect categories in China.

  • Oversee procurement processes — from supplier selection and contract negotiation to PO placement in SAP.

  • Collaborate with engineering, operations, finance, and global teams to align sourcing strategies with business goals.

  • Monitor supplier performance and ensure compliance with company policies and sustainability standards.

  • Identify opportunities for cost optimization, efficiency, and process improvement.

  • Provide market insights and benchmark data to guide sourcing and commercial decisions.

What You Will Need

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Engineering, or a related field.

  • Minimum 8 years’ experience in indirect sourcing or procurement, preferably in the wind energy, renewable energy, or manufacturing sector.

  • Bilingual with Mandarin (Native) and English (Business level)

  • Strong negotiation and supplier management skills with a proven record of cost savings and process improvement.

  • Hands-on experience with SAP or similar ERP systems.

  • Excellent communication skills in English (Mandarin is an advantage).

  • Proactive, analytical, and results-driven mindset with the ability to work cross-functionally.
