THE OPPORTUNITY: 

The Green Recruitment Company are partnered with a leading Renewable Investment Manager looking to hire an ESG Analyst to sit within their In-House Sustainability team. The successful candidate will advise on improving existing funds' ESG capabilities across a range of technologies (all fixed assets). 

THE ROLE: 

• Maintaining Climate propriety models and ensuring appropriate strategies are delivered for integrating ESG practices into existing funds 
• Lead on the development of the firms' ESG research framework - citing existing trends and carrying out extensive quantitative and market analysis
• Keep regularly up-to-date on new ESG screening and impact topics - working to improve quality of impact screening throughout 
• Advise on all new M&A activity according to existing ESG standards 
• Liaise with in-house asset management function to ensure all new ESG are operating according to budget 

THE INDIVIDUAL: 

• 3 Years+ Experience in a similar position focussing on ESG or Sustainable Impact Finance 
• Masters Qualification in Economics, Business Management or Investment or other related discipline 
• Familiarity with ESG reporting and screening standards 
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills 
• Strong Data Management and Financial Modelling skills (Excel, PowerBI) 
• Strong working knowledge of the Renewables Investment landscape 
• Fluency in another language is a plus
