​HV Technician – Onshore & Offshore Substations

The Green Recruitment Company is currently working with a leading independent transmission business that develops, acquires and manages electricity infrastructure assets. The business manages one of the world's largest portfolios for offshore electricity transmission, based on the capacity of offshore wind connected – 4GW.

The business is looking for an HV Technician who will support the project delivery of significant electrical power assets whilst ensuring that HSE and asset performance are maintained.

Responsibilities

• Ensure HSE compliance for site activities

• Contractors and subcontractors' supervision

• Have an understanding of the organisation’s Electrical Safety Regulations

• Conducting inspections of on and offshore assets

• Support the development of asset and maintenance policies

• HV Switching, fault finding, and electrical installation work

Your Profile

• Technician-level qualification in electrical discipline

• Working knowledge of safe working practices and risk assessment procedures IOSH/ NEBOSH

• Knowledge of health and safety legislation
