HSE Manager – Onshore Wind Projects

Location: Samarqand Region, Uzbekistan

Position: Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) Manager

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced and motivated HSE Manager to oversee the health, safety, and environmental aspects of our onshore wind and T&D projects in the Samarqand Region. The successful candidate will ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, promote a culture of safety, and implement best practices to safeguard our workforce and the environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop, implement, and maintain comprehensive HSE policies and procedures.

  • Conduct risk assessments and implement mitigation strategies for onshore wind projects.

  • Ensure compliance with local, national, and international HSE regulations and standards.

  • Lead incident investigations and ensure effective corrective actions are implemented.

  • Provide HSE training and support to project teams and contractors.

  • Conduct regular site inspections and audits to ensure adherence to HSE policies.

  • Promote a culture of safety and environmental responsibility across all project teams.

  • Prepare and present HSE performance reports to senior management.

  • Liaise with regulatory authorities and other stakeholders regarding HSE matters.

  • Stay updated on industry best practices and incorporate them into project operations.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Science, Engineering, or a related field.

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in an HSE role, preferably in the renewable energy or construction sector.

  • In-depth knowledge of HSE regulations and standards applicable to onshore wind projects.

  • Proven experience in risk assessment, incident investigation, and HSE audits.

  • Strong communication and leadership skills.

  • Ability to work effectively in a multicultural and multidisciplinary team.

  • Professional certifications in HSE (e.g., NEBOSH, IOSH) are highly desirable.

  • Fluency in English is required; proficiency in Uzbek and/or Russian is an advantage.
