Job Description

TGRC is seeking a proficient HSE Advisor for a prominent onshore wind farm project based in Båtsfjord, Norway. This role offers a 9-month contract and is well-suited for a professional with significant experience in overseeing HSE operations within the renewable energy industry. The successful applicant will play a crucial role in maintaining and enhancing safety standards at this cutting-edge project location.

Responsibilities

  • Safety Oversight: Implement and monitor strict safety measures and standards at the project site.

  • Risk Evaluation: Conduct comprehensive risk assessments to identify potential hazards and formulate effective countermeasures.

  • Regulatory Adherence: Ensure all project activities comply with national and international HSE regulations.

  • Training and Development: Lead safety training initiatives to instill a robust culture of safety among project staff.

  • Incident Management: Respond to safety incidents, conduct thorough investigations, and prepare detailed reports with preventive strategies.

  • Policy Improvement: Participate in the development and refinement of HSE policies to ensure ongoing enhancements in safety practices.

Required Qualifications

  • A minimum of 2-3 years of experience in similar HSE roles, preferably within the onshore wind energy sector.

  • Essential health and safety certifications, such as NEBOSH, IOSH, or equivalent.

  • Demonstrated knowledge of current industry standards and safety regulations.

  • Strong communication skills in English, capable of managing both written and verbal communications effectively.

Location

This position is based in Båtsfjord, Norway, known for its vibrant community and strategic focus on sustainable energy projects.

Compensation

  • Contract Term: 9 months, potentially extendable depending on project requirements and performance.

  • Day Rate: €500, reflective of experience and qualifications.
