Job title: Head of Project Development

Location: Berlin, Germany (Hybrid)

TGRC is partnered with a company with a clear focus on the energy transition and is actively developing solar and wind projects. They are looking for a Head of Project Development to take the initiative and to contribute to society as a whole. Committed participants are cordially invited to join this project.

The company brings these three key components together and relies on a flat hierarchy and fast decision-making processes to actively contribute to the realization of a sustainable energy transition.

Your tasks:

  • Building a high-performance development team for wind and solar projects

  • Management of the team from securing the area to construction readiness

  • Systematic review, evaluation and prioritization of projects

  • Moreover, responsibility for approval, progress and profitability

  • Supporting the project developers in presentations to political committees, authorities and citizens

  • Overall responsibility for project schedules and budgets

  • In addition, monitoring the profitability and risks of the project pipeline

  • Member of the 5-person management team

  • Additionally, contribution of expertise and experience for well-founded decisions

  • Designing the interfaces of project development with the area acquisition team and the planning & technology team

Qualifications:

  • At least 8 years of professional experience in solar and/or wind project development with proven success in obtaining approvals.

  • Successful team leadership for at least 3 years.

  • Completed studies in engineering, renewable energies, geography, urban/spatial/environmental/landscape planning or similar.

  • Deep understanding of the legal and technical context of solar and wind projects.

  • Open and constructive discussions, especially in the management team, always for the good of the company.

  • Additionally, independent and results-oriented way of working.

  • Furthermore, willingness to travel extensively.

  • Team-oriented working style.

  • Additionally, good knowledge of German required
