​Job title: Head of Project Delivery

Location: Sydney, New South Wales, Australia (On-site)

TGRC partnered with a leading energy generation platform as they look to hire a Head of Project Delivery focused on their Wind portfolio.

In this role you will oversee major wind projects from conception and early development through to financial close, managing multiple technical and commercial workstreams in unison.

Your role:

• Lead their flagship projects to financial close and beyond, including managing the different commercial and technical workstreams

• Lead project teams to deliver projects on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.

• Identify and manage all project risks

• Oversee the project contracting and procurement and manage contracts effectively

• Oversee the Owner’s Engineering activities

• Communicate project updates effectively to a range of internal and external stakeholders

Your profile:

• A degree in engineering, project management or a related field.

• Extensive experience in the successful delivery of renewable energy projects in Australia with a strong bias towards Wind Energy

• Strong knowledge of project management principles and techniques.

• Solid technical and commercial acumen with the ability to manage budgets, financial risks, and other commercial aspects of project delivery.

• Experience managing and developing project teams

This role would suit someone with strong Project Delivery skills who has worked within an EPC, Developer, OEM or Advisory firm and is motivated to play a Lead role in the successful delivery of large-scale wind projects that will have a significant impact on the energy transition in Australia.
