Job description

​This role will involve working as part of the Project Development Team to identify, design and develop renewable energy developments across the UK & Ireland- with a specific focus being on Onshore Wind developments.

You'll be required to produce maps, plans and data sets using GIS to support the use of our GIS Online platform across the business. This includes the production of Ecology plans, Environmental Risk Maps, Lease plans, creating and updating datasets and creation of online web maps, applications, and dashboards.

Additional accountabilities include.

  • Providing comprehensive technical expertise and GIS support across the renewables business.

  • Sourcing and managing spatial data sets ensuring all associated metadata and geographical information is up to date.

  • Creating 3D models of Wind farms.

  • Identifying innovative value opportunities within the Drawings and GIS Team to support the Onshore Renewables business.

Candidates of varying levels of experience are encouraged to apply. Previous work with Renewables is not a pre-requisite, however a desire to get involved within the Onshore wind sector is important.

The position is full-time and is based out of an office in the North-West of England, although development sites will be across the UK.
