Functional Safety Engineer - Renewable Energy Projects
The Green Recruitment Company is delighted to offer an exciting position for a Functional Safety Engineer. This role involves contributing your skills and expertise to a diverse range of Renewable Energy Projects, focusing on upholding the highest standards of safety and reliability.
Location: Bremen, Germany
Contract Duration: 9 months
Hourly Rate: €60
Responsibilities:
Lead the implementation of functional safety measures across various renewable energy projects, including wind, solar, and other renewable sources.
Conduct comprehensive safety assessments, risk analysis, and design reviews to ensure compliance with international safety standards and regulations.
Collaborate with engineering teams to integrate safety principles into project designs and operational procedures.
Develop thorough safety documentation and safety cases to support the entire lifecycle of the projects.
Provide expert advice and training on functional safety standards and best practices to project teams.
Stay abreast of the latest industry safety standards and regulations, ensuring project compliance.
Engage with clients, regulatory authorities, and other stakeholders to address safety-related inquiries and ensure transparency.
Requirements:
Degree in Engineering, preferably with a specialization in Safety Engineering or a related field.
Demonstrated experience in functional safety engineering, ideally within the renewable energy sector.
Knowledge of relevant safety standards (e.g., IEC 61508, ISO 26262).
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
Excellent communication and team collaboration skills.
Proficiency in both English and German.
Legal eligibility to work in Germany.
