​Functional Safety Engineer - Renewable Energy Projects

The Green Recruitment Company is delighted to offer an exciting position for a Functional Safety Engineer. This role involves contributing your skills and expertise to a diverse range of Renewable Energy Projects, focusing on upholding the highest standards of safety and reliability.

Location: Bremen, Germany

Contract Duration: 9 months

Hourly Rate: €60

Responsibilities:

  • Lead the implementation of functional safety measures across various renewable energy projects, including wind, solar, and other renewable sources.

  • Conduct comprehensive safety assessments, risk analysis, and design reviews to ensure compliance with international safety standards and regulations.

  • Collaborate with engineering teams to integrate safety principles into project designs and operational procedures.

  • Develop thorough safety documentation and safety cases to support the entire lifecycle of the projects.

  • Provide expert advice and training on functional safety standards and best practices to project teams.

  • Stay abreast of the latest industry safety standards and regulations, ensuring project compliance.

  • Engage with clients, regulatory authorities, and other stakeholders to address safety-related inquiries and ensure transparency.

Requirements:

  • Degree in Engineering, preferably with a specialization in Safety Engineering or a related field.

  • Demonstrated experience in functional safety engineering, ideally within the renewable energy sector.

  • Knowledge of relevant safety standards (e.g., IEC 61508, ISO 26262).

  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.

  • Excellent communication and team collaboration skills.

  • Proficiency in both English and German.

  • Legal eligibility to work in Germany.
