​Functional Safety Engineer - Renewable Energy Projects

The Green Recruitment Company is excited to offer an exceptional opportunity for a Functional Safety Engineer. This role involves contributing your expertise to a variety of Renewable Energy Projects, ensuring the highest standards of safety and efficiency.

Location: Paris, France

Contract Duration: 9 months

Hourly Rate: €60

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement functional safety aspects of various renewable energy projects, including wind, solar, and hydroelectric power systems.

  • Conduct safety assessments, risk analyses, and design reviews to ensure compliance with relevant safety standards and regulations.

  • Work closely with engineering teams to integrate safety principles into project designs and operational procedures.

  • Develop safety cases and documentation supporting the safety lifecycle of the projects.

  • Provide guidance and training to project teams on functional safety requirements and best practices.

  • Stay updated with current industry safety standards and regulations and ensure projects adhere to these standards.

  • Liaise with clients, regulatory bodies, and other stakeholders to address safety-related concerns and ensure transparency.

Requirements:

  • Degree in Engineering, preferably with a specialization in Safety Engineering.

  • Proven experience in functional safety engineering, ideally within the renewable energy sector.

  • Familiarity with relevant safety standards (e.g., IEC 61508, ISO 26262).

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.

  • Fluency in English and French is highly desirable.

  • Legal right to work in France.
