Job Purpose

  • Monitor customer positions and transact with flex customers
  • Perform trade entry whilst maintaining a high standard of data accuracy
  • Work with wider commercial teams to deliver margins in line with financial forecasts
  • Support the development of systems and processes required to deliver a market-leading customer Flexible products platform
  • Create and maintain strong, collaborative customer/broker relationships
  • In conjunction with the Risk team, develop and execute risk frameworks to manage the market risks associated with Flexible products
  • Develop counterparty level SLAs including detailed frameworks and internal processes aimed at mitigating operational risk
  • Develop market-leading reporting suites
  • Utilise data analytics to identify areas of gross margin generation
  • Develop robust and collaborative customer relationships
  • Present information on energy markets to sales teams and external customers
  • Support innovation in internal and external processes
  • Support the billing of the flex portfolio

Accountability/Key Responsibilities

  • Excellent understanding of the UK/European energy industry and marketing and trading activity specifics (products, customers and counter-parties)
  • Energy Risk/Trading background preferred
