Account Manager (Flexibility / Optimisation)

Birmingham (Hybrid)

The Green Recruitment Company is delighted to be supporting one of the largest & fastest-growing energy suppliers in the industry.

As part of their success to date, the business seeks a Strategic Account Manager to join their Optimisation team. They are looking for a motivated, self-driven individual with strong B2B I&C experience to take lead in improving & growing the business.

Key responsibilities:

  • Participation in the development of new products & offerings in what is a rapidly evolving.

  • Develop & maintain relationships at all levels across our strategic partner network.

  • Work closely with TPI's & external partners to ensure they are continually up to date with product offerings.

  • Work in a partnership with Commercial & Pricing team to enhance & evolve pricing models and customer prepositions for Flexible demand based on market demand.

  • Work closely with external & internal partners to ensure all commercial/ Sales opportunities are managed smoothly, in an efficient manner.

  • Regular visits to Partners & TPI’s for detailed account reviews & check in’s.

  • Participation in the design & implementation of ongoing process improvements & efficiencies relating to the Optimisation business stream.

  • Prepare & present Partner & TPI performance updates capturing current deal opportunity progression & future pipelines.

About you:

  • Knowledge of energy markets and revenue streams available via flexible demand

  • Technical knowledge of assets and operations able to provide demand flexibility

  • Knowledge of the range of customer products & services offered by suppliers, aggregators and TPI’s in this area

  • A proven ability to build and maintain effective relationships at all levels of an organisation

  • Confidence in problem solving and collaborating with different teams and organisations

  • Commercial awareness and understanding to develop business opportunities

  • Experience of leading pitches / presentations to a high standard

  • Experience using CRM to track deals
