Job Title: Finance Director

Our client, an international climate change NGO, is seeking a Finance Director to lead their finance team in Beijing. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the financial operations of the organization and ensuring that financial systems are in place to support the achievement of the organization's strategic objectives.
Lead and manage the finance team, providing guidance, training, and support to ensure that the team is performing at the highest level.
Oversee the financial operations of the organization, including budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, and cash flow management.
Ensure that financial systems and processes are in place to support the achievement of the organization's strategic objectives.
Manage relationships with external stakeholders, including banks, auditors, and donors.
Ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and accounting standards.
Provide financial analysis and advice to the leadership team to support decision-making.
A Bachelor's degree or higher in finance, accounting, or a related field.
A minimum of 10 years of experience in finance, with at least 5 years in a senior finance role.
Experience working in the non-profit sector, preferably in an international development or climate change organization.
Strong technical knowledge of finance and accounting, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.
Strong leadership skills, with the ability to manage and motivate a team.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with stakeholders.
Fluency in English and Mandarin Chinese.
