The Green Recruitment Company are currently working with a Global Power company as they seek to hire a Finance Director in Melbourne.

Having been active in the Australian market from afar they're looking to solidify their commitment to the region and begin building out a local presence to support all current and future projects, with this hire being key to their growth.

Your role:

• Leading and overseeing all aspects of corporate finance including accounting, financial reporting, taxation, treasury, financing, insurance and financial planning & analysis.

• Develop and implement an effective and sustainable financial strategy and capital structuring of the business.

• Responsible for developing and maintaining the highest standard of corporate governance, compliance and internal control.

• Build a world-class finance function to enhance the organisation's capabilities through effective leadership, coaching and personal growth of the team.

Your profile:

• University degree in Accounting, Finance or Business Administration

• Professionally qualified as a CA, CPA, CMA or similar

• 12+ years experience and a background in having led a finance function ideally in a large multinational

• Exposure to international companies with large complexity and offshore reporting lines

• A high degree of integrity and driven by process improvement

• Experience working across Renewable Energy, Power or Utilities is highly desired
